Antony Clark
Industries Manager

Sean Walsh
Contracting Manager

Sean works with Project Managers and clients alike; ensuring our teams deliver projects successfully on every level. This includes going above and beyond project-specific desired outcomes to maintain a high quality finish; both on time and on budget. Highly energetic and motivated, Sean was awarded the CCNZ National Emerging Leader in 2017.

Annette McAinch
HSEQ Advisor

Annette joins our management team in the business support role bringing her expertise in Health & Safety, Environment and Quality Assurance. Annette brings her talents & experience from a background in the construction industry and leading teams to enhance Simcox’s performance as we continue to grow and develop our company as a market leader.

Annette has also been instrumental in establishing excellent growth and processes in the newly formed Simcox Traffic Management team and provides continuous improvement to our Barracks Hard Rock Quarry.

Jesse Klempel
Contract Manager

Jesse manages both the Rivers & Drainage Maintenance, and the Heavy Plant contracts we hold with Marlborough District Council (MDC). An accomplished excavator operator in his own right, Jesse has progressed from completing the work responsible for our continued success with MDC contracts into a management role where he oversees, directs and leads our talented team.

Dave O'Malley
Contract Manager

Dave specialises in civil infrastructure and has had a long career in delivering civil & earthworks projects in Marlborough and Australia.
Dave transitioned from operator to supervisor through to contract manager. Dave’s experience and strengths lie in his straight forward approach and commitment to performing for the client & getting the best from his team. Dave is involved from concept through to completion at every step.

Jared Macown
Contract Manager

Jared joined Simcox Construction in 2021 as a Contract Manager after working with The Metal Company for the past 9 years as the Store Manager. Before this, he was the store & purchasing Manager for Talley’s, dealing with all the Contractors, Electricians, Mechanics, and Engineers with the day-to-day plant running and building & mechanical projects.

Jared combines contractor-side expertise in Purchasing, Management, construction, and maintenance, with experience gained over the past 12 years.

Jared has headed up several highly successful projects and will replicate this expertise in the management of this contract. Jared brings energy and enthusiasm to his contracts and aims high to meet or exceed every commitment and obligation.

Marijke Isley
Resource Coordinator

Marijke joined Simcox in June 2022. She started her career in contracting in a part-time receptionist role, moving to office manager, then to project manager, where she was running two road maintenance contracts in Taupo. After this she moved to a well known earthmoving company where she was a project manager for the rivers contract and multiple rural projects, area wide treatment projects and dairy conversions.

Marijke has been in the contracting industry for over ten years, it is her blood with her dad being an earthmoving contractor and her husband also an earthmover.


Circle Huen
Project Engineer

Circle is a qualified engineer, obtaining his Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Hons) from the University of Canterbury in 2021. Circle joined Simcox Construction in January 2022.

As one of Simcox’s construction managers (and supported by our senior engineer), Circle is taking the lead role on three approx. $400k value projects, including watermains and earthworks to date. Circle also manages our Marlborough Roads subcontract (approx. and our 3 traffic management teams.

After completing his degree in civil engineering, Circle obtains optimal solutions, understands the site constraints, and meets the clients’ preferences while following the New Zealand Standards and health and safety.

With his previous degree in Business Management and over 15 years of work experience, Circle has developed an excellent understanding of retail banking, asset management, supply and demand chain, business operation, strategic and financial planning.

Circle’s banking and hospitality background helps him communicate and understand both the client and stakeholders’ interests and needs. Circle provides better options with finance elements and commercial awareness.

Marg Parker
Administration Manager

Marg leads all of Simcox’s administration support; assisting our Project Managers with invoicing, claims and communication. On top of this, Marg is an excellent interface with our clients. She’s usually the first point of contact for a number of clients, forming and strengthening our relationships across the Isaac Group as well.
