The Awatere Water Maintenance contract involves the routine operation maintenance and repair of the Awatere water supply system. The work involves intake operation maintenance and repair, pump, pumping station and reservoir operation and minor maintenance; pipe, valve, hydrant, service lateral and surface box maintenance, repair and flushing and Water meter installation, maintenance and reading.

The work requires a team to be ‘on call’ at all times in case the is a leak on the line and someone loses water.
