The day before the first home game for the Crusaders in Nelson staff from Isaac's and Simcox visited the nearby schools of Renwick and Grovetown where the kids were able to meet and greet Quinten Strange, Ethan Bladder and Fetuli Paea members of the Crusaders rugby team.

Armed with rugby balls and flags to hand out to the kids it was a great day had by all and we are looking forward to visiting the schools of Blenheim again!

Once our visits to the schools were done the staff at Simcox had the pleasure of having their monthly BBQ cooked by the players and share some thoughts on how the lads would go against the Waratahs rugby team from Australia the following day. The staff weren’t too shy as you can imagine, offering the boys some sound advice on how to win the game.

A big thank you to Jen Neeley for organising the school visits and escorting us around for the day.
